Dirty Oil Causes Engine Warning Light to engage

Last week, I got the dreaded yellow engine warning light while driving. I took my car into the dealer to get it checked out. After flashing, the code returned was P0011 - Which could mean just dirty oil, or a problem with the camshaft adjuster. I was told they were aware of an "issue" with the camshafts, but since it had been 9K miles since my last oil change I should get the oil change first to see if it resolves the problem. Well, after the $375 oil change of course the engine light is off, I'm just real skeptical it actually fixed the problem. I'm expecting the same issue to comeback within the next year or so.

Just as I thought, my check engine light came on again this morning. Taking it back to the dealer to get this fixed right.

Well, dealer is replacing camshaft actuators. That was the issue all along.

It's good to be informed of problems out there.

What model and year is your car? And what is the mileage?

My ride is a 2010 S with 47500 miles to date. Thing is, I rarely drive it on the weekdays, it's not a daily driver. I would be really pissed off if it were my daily driver and I've had to take it back to the dealer for so many issues (small and large). I really don't think I could drive it daily with the front end noise, but weekend long distance driving I can deal with it. Although I did tell the dealer since they have my ride for a week now, that they need to retorque my front end, if that doesn't work, I'll go back and request to have new control arms installed. I'll have everything done, that I've seen others have done with this issue, and hopefully it will resolve the issue.
