Anyone makes PDK software update?
Yours blips the throttle when is only in Sport?... it most be completly different software on the GTS compared to my S. Because mine definetly does not... the downshifts have zero emotion on mine....
Im going to do some more digging... to see how I can get more feel out of my car...

yup mine blips even in automatic, which is quite cool
I just got an email from Suncoast regarding the Sport Plus option.
He said that the Sport Plus option will not make shifting any faster... But what it will do is let the car rev up all the way to redline before shifting. It will also map the throttle response more aggresively to give the feel of being faster... and no throttle blip either.
So sounds like the Sport Plus options is still not what Im lookin for...

well, stay in touch over the next 24 months. When my lease is up, I'll be getting something different, and not going to turn this car into the dealer to sell at some crazy mark-up. I'd rather sell it to someone on here, at a fair price, so that I make a few dollars, and they save a bunch over retail, and its a win-win for two 6speed forum members.

Finally Porsche update their PDK on 14 and younger PTT and they now do nice throttle blip on down shifting, especially if equipped with factory sports exhaust option. It's sad that they can't provide this update to owners of pre 14 model. Because I'm pretty sure that PDK is pretty much the same and they achieve with electronically by dumping more fuel in the engine.
Interested in know these also ! The adm on the cayenne sections chenged his 957 TT tcu to 957 TTS tcu and could notice dome gains in the shifting .They already contacted softronic for a new tiptronic tcu remap. Looks like every single clutch out there is looking to get 150ms shifting speeds with tcu remaps and valvebody modification and I do now understand why we dont have anything yet on our pdk.
Throttle blip is not only related to PDK but also related to your exhaust. In case of PTT before 14 PDK does not do throttle blip and does not rev match and in addition to that, if you have stock exhaust it is very restrictive, so you don't hear anything at all. Realistically if you want a true exotic sound when downshifting your car you won't get this with this version of PDK no matter what you do, but you can definitely improve it by removing some restrictions in your exhaust or completely replacing it with aftermarket one.
Yeah, looks like PDK starting from 14 (revised body) has a different software and maybe even possibly be a slightly different PDK itself.
Does anyone know if there's an update/upgrade for us '13 GTS owners? I can relate to what the OP is saying, coming from a 997.2 S, the Carrera had what seemed to be slightly faster/more violent upshifts VS the PGTS...
"Campaign WE45" (Re-programming DME Control Unit) was applied to my 2013 GTS. Mine is a 1Q 2013 build and the campaign was initiated by corporate. PDK seem to behave differently after the re-programming... feels like it smooths out the down-shifts.
