Tried the adaptive cruise control today. Wasn't sure initially if my car would stop in the glove box of the car ahead of me or not. Did come to a complete stop when it needed to. Fantastic.

To get it moving again from a stand still I pushed the resume stalk up. I am wondering if it would have moved from a standstill automatically without hitting the resume button if the car ahead of me had moved and I had given it some more time to do so?

I use it all the time in stop and go traffic. Makes commuting less tiring. It won't move if the hold is engage. Just give the gas a light tap and it will get moving again.
