Dealer Recommendation - Service - NJ
Need a recommendation for a dealer in central NJ with a good service department. Have not had any good recommendations from friends and the one I have used is terrible. Anyone have a good recommendation in Central NJ?

Mainline Porsche though in PA extend their services far and wide into NJ and DE. No harm in asking them. They're a Premier dealer as well.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been to Mainline when I was looking for a 911 and it was a great place. Unfortunately for me for service, it is a bit far (over 70 miles one way) so was hoping for somewhere a little closer to Central NJ.

Sorry, but my experience with Jack Daniels Service has been horrible. Bought my CPO 4S there and Sales experience was good.
When I picked the car up the front passenger tire was showing as 4 PSI lower than the front left. When I pointed it out the Service Manager told me this was normal... I remedied that myself. It also had issues with the passenger rear window not working properly (auto down with full button push not working) and the rearview mirror was showing signs of a failing LCD. Radio presets were lost by both drivers after a few days also. Would have thought some of these issues would have been noticed and rectified in the CPO process, but no...
Took it in to have everything repaired and when I showed up to pick the car up the window button controls in the drivers door were replaced, but they did not secure them and they were just "floating" in the driver door opening. I immediately went back in and when I did there was no longer anyone there who could remedy the problem, so I had the leave the car another day and drive back and forth 50 miles each way again to get my car back.
The radio issue is still not resolved as well.
As far as I am concerned Jack Daniels Service, is good on the surface, Advisors are nice and very customer focused, but Techs and Service Management are terrible. Who let's a car be returned where the replaced part is so obviously not installed properly?

Well not the best experience at Flemington Porsche;
I brought my wife’s Panamera 4S in to have some issues rectified (PCM losing presets and a couple of rattles). On my prior visit I made the point to the Service person at the desk that I did not want the car washed in a car wash, that I only hand washed the car and just spent over $1k have the swirl marks removed this summer. To my surprise when the car was done, the technician came out to speak with me about the PCM and told me they were washing the car. When I asked about it he told me they were hand washing it, so I took him at his word. When I went outside to my car I noticed the front plate was missing. I went back inside and the guy who had the car washed went across the street to check if the plate was there. The plate was, and when I questioned how my front plate could have come off in a hand wash I was then told it was a machine car wash, and apologized to. They then put the front plate back on my car, but it was replaced on an odd angle tilted about ¾” from one side to the other and looked ridiculous on my $100k+ car. I went back in and they brought the car into the bay to put the pate on again and during this visit they also replaced the plate surround from Jack Daniels Porsche on the front and rear plates. When returned this time the rear plate was now tilted about ½” from one side to the other, but by then I had had enough and left. When I got home I fixed how the plate was mounted in 10 seconds and realized that whoever remounted the rear plate did so by drilling 2 new holes into my rear bumper. I also then looked at the work done inside the car where they repaired the overhead center console and there was dirt all over the head liner in that area that I had to clean.
Now to add to the above experience, while I was in the repair bay with the technician explaining the issues to him I noticed a new GT3 that had just come in. The car looked great and to be honest I was surprised by the $150k sticker. I currently have an Audi R8 Spyder and went into the Porsche sales area and asked the salesman at the desk nearest the door about the car and we both went into the repair bay to look at it as he thought it was sold already. Turns out it was not so I asked for a trade value on my R8 realizing that without the car there a firm number could not be quoted. After sitting at his desk for over 15 minutes he came back and told me they couldn’t give me a number at all without the car there. I told him the car was immaculate and he could at the Audi service desk as I have my car serviced there and that I just wanted a rough number to work out where I would be on the car, considering buying the GT3. He would not give me a number and told me someone would have to call me today. At about 10:30 am today I got a call and was quoted $95k, which is a bit low, but I understand it's a starting point. After discussing the quote a bit I was then told, that it didn’t matter anyway as they took a deposit on the GT3 last night.

Strange that happened to you. That GT3 is mine I took delivery today. They have always been good to me, who was your service advisor? Never had a problem with any of my p-cars or audis with them.

Mike McGovern was my service advisor. Nice guy and very apologetic, but all after the fact for me unfortunately.
On the Audi side I have always gotten great service and Chris Short has always been great and the R8 Tech (can't remember his name) has done an awesome job taking care of my car.
