ex - 911 drivers: miss it??

A lot of us Panny owners came from a 911. After two years, I kind of miss that actual sportscar feel with manual shift. Sure the Panamera handles great and the PDK is a fantastic transmission. Just not the same. Of course it's a sedan and that's what we opted for.
Some Panny owners have a 911 as well which is ideal...
Does anyone else miss their 911?

I kept my 911 so I got the best of both. Mine is a C4S cab so can play with that and my wife's PTT is so comfortable and fast it has its own rewards.

Great question. My PTT is faster than my previous 991S and is more effortless in how it makes the power/torque. The 991 though had better steering. From the standpoint of comfort and ride quality though my PTT rules!
18 months from now, who knows? By then the 991.2 may be coming out or on the verge.

I got a Panamera GTS because I liked driving my 991 TTS so much. I will drive both year round and have winter tires for both, but the GTS is more practical. Was going to replace my D3 A8 with an S8 , which is very fast and has an amazing interior, but the handling, while impressive is not anything like the GTS and the styling of the front was not for me. The GTS is plenty fast for me, the exhaust note is excellent and it is a very satisfying car to drive. The GTS is planted and surprisingly quiet on the highway. No turbo thrust, but since I won't track the GTS, no problem. I suppose if I could have only one car it would be the Panamera GTS.

Good points...the GTS is an awesome car whether in 2013 or 2014 form. I had a tough time choosing between GTS and PTT. In sport plus suspension mode they are both awesome. My PTT can get up over triple digits in a damn hurry, wow...madman in a tuxedo.
