2012 panamera with 40k miles on it, just got 40k miles major service done at porsche dealership 2 days ago..

Today the pcm would just stay in radio mode with no sound. Turned car off and on with no luck..

Reached home and i turn it off and try it again after 30 minutes and all works normal now.. Just wondering if any of you panamera owners have faced anything like this?

Should i let the dealer look at this? Or wait to see if it happens again?

 

Does your paperwork show they did a load test on the battery ?

 

I have the same or similar problem. Burmester speakers not producing sound - music, Bluetooth phone, navi. Otherwise PCM is working fine. I also notice that the Burmester options are visible but not selectable. Looks like PCM is not connecting to the Burmester system. Car going to dealer on Thursday. Will let you know if they solve the problem

 

The checklist they gave me on picking up the vehicle says they did a battery performance test.

It has not happened again yet... the car will goto the dealership for driver window button panel being replaced due to that missing chrome peice so i will make sure i let them know about this issue aswell. Do let me know what you find out p4s

 

Spoke to Tom Wood Porsche in indy and the service rep said there is a software upgrade available so will be taking my car in soon.. hopefully that issue never pops up again..

 

My problem fixed itself magically after driving the car a bit. I believe my battery charge was low (I don't drive the car much). After a number of longer drives the radio fixed itself -- all working well now. Still taking it to the dealer on Thursday. Will let you know what they find out.
