It has come time to part with my beloved Panamera Turbo. It served me well, gave me a lot of good times and kept me safe for 4 years. There are rumours that our tax system might change, so didnt want to take the risk of losing $$. We have so much tax that a used 2010 Panamera turbo still costs 150 000 euros... . Also with more kids, we take the SUV everywhere now, and I have been left alone in my Panamera.

Also there are rumors that the new Panny will arrive by the end of 2016, so I thought it would be a good time to sell. The last, but maybe the most important reason was eco friendliness, which the Panamera turbo is not. I want my kids to enjoy a clean planet, so I though I might do my share. I believe that within 2 years there will be a Panamera hybrid Turbo S, and later a 991 Turbo S Hybrid. Ill be back with Porsche probably then... in the meantime I bought an i8, due to arrive in May. It just has technology (safety , drivere aids etc.) that Porsche just cant offer at the moment. It is also the right size for me and picking up the kids now and then on the way home. I really wanted to buy the 991 Turbo S, but it just was too close to the Panamera Turbo that I couldnt get myself to buying it after negotiating several deals, that I didnt close. Then I drove my friends i8 and Tesla P85 and I knew electricity was what I wanted and for me the i8 seemed like the best choice. It is really cool in person, I never really thought it was an option before I drove it.

Thanks guys for all the support and fun times! Ill miss the times, but until the next time! Probably will still be hanging around now and then after I regret what I have done!
