Sprint Booster works on 2010 PTT

I have a new-to-me 2010 PTT and did not like the throttle response in normal mode. My only comparison was a 2015 P4S loaner which had very good throttle response. While I understand that Sport and Sport Plus give better throttle response, I don't always want the shift points changed. So I decided to try the sprint booster. Works like a charm.

Just thought I'd post in case anybody else wonders about sprint booster with a turbo.

Important note!!! The throttle connector has a gray slider that pushes STRAIGHT DOWN (vertically in line with the connector body)!!!! I did not know this and pushed it back (away from me) and snapped a piece off. It still can be released, but now I have to use something to push down on the slider.

Cool. What's the impact on gas mileage?

Have not paid any attention to that. Based on my understanding of what it does, gas mileage will be affected in the same way as it would be if you:

1. Didn't install sprint booster and
2. Stepped on the gas pedal harder

All sprint booster does is increase gas to the engine for the same pedal position (as compared to stock). I like to only have to apply very light pressure on the pedal to get a response. Sprint booster does that.

Glad you are enjoying the booster.
When I had it on my 4S, it was almost like 30 miles less but ...
so much fun!!! I was also able to enjoyed the auto start/stop.
