Rear defroster not working

Anybody ever had this happen? What do you think the cost to repair would be and how long it'd take?

All my windows were foggy the other day and I turned on front and rear defrost. Front took 5 seconds, rear had no effect. PTT, btw.

Thanks!

First thing I would check is the fuse box. Then inspect the wires on the glass to see if they are broken anywhere.

as a last resort I would take it to the dealer and have them diagnose the problem.

Our rear defrost is awful. It barely is able to clear a tiny bit of condensation close to the heating elements.

It goes on the list for next service visit.
