PLEASE HELP TURBO or 4S
Thanks for the advice, looks like I waited to long on the Turbo and he has a deal pending. I was going back and forth with what I should do and it cost me. This is the car that I was on.
Is there a extended warranty company you recommend getting before existing warranty expires?

Service on the PTT with that many miles will cost a small fortune. You should also set aside a good chunk of money to cover failed systems like the PDK or air suspension. My opinion is that you would be better off spending the extra 20k to get a lower mileage PTT with more time left on the CPO.
To give you an idea, I just traded my 2011 PTT w ~45k miles on it for $57k (needed new tires, brakes, plugs etc).

I figured at $45k how bad can I get hurt, still certified till July? The car is up to date w/ all service records/major and minors. I was looking at 4S originally and the more I did research the more I wanted the Turbo. It is high miles, hence the price is in the mid 40's
You think I should stay away?Thx

I found another Turbo w/ the ceramic brake pads. I've heard the replacement costs for them, like $10k a corner! Would you even consider buying a Turbo w/ that option?
I did. The car that I purchased had all of the options I wanted, but it also had the PCCBs as well. I decided to do it and I am happy with the decision. The brakes throw virtually no brake dust so the wheels are always clean, they don't squeal, they stop hard and they look great too. I figure that if the time ever comes that I need new brakes, I will either decide to spend the money on new ceramics, I will trade the car in or I will convert to normal brakes to save money. In all cases, the time is a long way off so I'm not worried about it.
I tend to agree with the others...spend more and get a car with lower mileage and a CPO warranty. Cars with that kind of mileage are going to have some issues at some point and will cost A LOT to fix. If your financially able, I would step up and get the better car from a Porsche dealer.
Once again.. good luck.

FWIW, I paid $60k for a 60,000 mile 2010 turbo with 2years or 50,000 miles CPO warranty. I have had it in the dealer for approx $2k?? worth of repairs in the first 5-6 months of owning it. I am third owner and it was sold to second owner as CPO as well. Point being, I agree with the comments re: it's never going to not be an expensive car to fix. Lots of gadgets (mine is loaded). I was above what I would have liked to pay for a car (I'm not rich, but also don't have a wife or kids), but I got it because it was otherwise in excellent condition and had a warranty. I don't know what I'll do when the CPO runs out (buy extended warranty or sell). In the meantime, it is a PHENOMENAL car (when it's running right).
P.S. from what I understand, turbo brakes are significantly more expensive than non-turbo. I will be needing brakes soon I think.

I think I'm going to take my chances in a high mile one, and see what happens. I can't settle for the 4S after reading and driving a Turbo.

I hear ya. I don't think I've driven an S except maybe a short test drive. but i have had 2014/2015 base models as loaners when mine was being worked on and to be honest, I would rather save the money and buy a used BMW 5 series. The base model is nice enough, but other than the fact that it handles well, does not command $90k.
I've had both.
I would take the turbo all day long. It usually has a higher list of standard options that most base, S or 4S are click on options. Turbo usually have the full leather, Pasm with air suspension and other little standard equipment that make up for the difference in price plus the bigger engine and brakes!
