Squeaky breaks?

Hey guys new 16 Panamera 4. Breaks are really squeaky should I be worried? Only 300 miles... perhaps because it's new? Thanks!

Worried? No. Part of the charm with owning a p-car. If it really bothers you, perhaps try and make a couple of hard stops to bed the pads into the rotors. Also try washing the wheels, this sometimes helps remove some of the noise associated with loose dust.

You need to "bed-in" your brake pads & rotors.

Google it and find directions.

Very common with these cars. When I bought my PTTS, the salesman told me to expect it, and if you look in the owners manual, it will tell u about this. The owners manual calls it "brake acoustics"...lol

Once the bed-in process completes, it should go away....until brake dust collects.

I have a 997 and unless I hose down the brake calipers once a week, I would get brake noise. Just set you hose nozzle to the stream setting and hose down your brakes.

Consider yourself lucky if you don't have the PCCBs - I get some very embarrassing squealing while turning into my driveway.

I have PCCBs and they aren't very noisy at all. Much less noise than previous p-cars I have owned. The noisiest they are is when I am slowing to pull into a parking spot.
