Turbo / Turbo s

Hi guys Other than the 50hp more on the Panamera Turbo S, what other features are standard or different on the S? Is PCCM standard? Would you think that $10k extra for a used PTT S (vs PTT) are worth it in terms of experience, features and future resale value? Very few PTT S on the market it seems, I have not had a chance to drive one yet ...

it has the whole sport package - so you get PDCC which is very rare but a great addition to these cars.

Jayetica888,

I have a 2012 Turbo S. I have made this comment in another thread some time ago, but here is my take on the difference between the turbo and turbo S.

In city/daily driving, you will notice very little difference. The turbo S, however, seems to accelerate just a little faster and climbs to a higher speed as well. The acceleration in the turbo S model is just a little faster than the turbo, but you you really don't notice this unless you are really pushing the car.

Of course, as you have noticed, there are very few Turbo S's. I believe the first model was in 2011, and I was told by a reputable Porsche dealer that since 2011, less than 600 Turbo S's have been brought to the USA. So...it is somewhat exclusive.

Not sure if that helps at all, but I love mine. There are VERY few cars that will be able to keep up with you in a Turbo S!

Having owned a CTT with PDCC but not PTV, I would say that was significant difference in handling and dynamics vs a rig without it.

I would assume that a PTTS that comes standard with PDCC and PTV (also CCB) would transform the cars dynamics when pushing it. If you don't feel that difference then you can just get a cheaper PTT and tune it beyond power levels of the S.

I believe the PCCB is still an option even in the turbo s trim. In any case, I love the PDCC in my turbo. : )
