21" wheels tires dilemma

Hello,

I'm looking to install 21" ADV1 wheels to my car. Need to find the best tires for this rim size.

I spent some time and found next options available on the market:

Original Wheels Size and Tyres Size
Front
9.5J x 20 ET 65 rims
255/40 ZR 20 (101Y) XL
Rear
11J x 20 ET 68 rims
295/35 ZR 20 (105Y) XL

Currently i'm using spacers: 7mm front and 15mm - perfect fitment.

Current options available for 21" wheels:

Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

9.5J rims
255/35/21 (same diameter like stock 255/40/20)
11J rims
295/30 R21 (-0.6% smaller overall diameter comparing to stock 295/35/20)

Michelin PS Cup 2
9.5J rims
265/35ZR21 (+1.00% to overall diameter comparing stock 255/40/20)
11.5J rims
305/30ZR21 (+0.3% to overall diameter comparing stock 295/35/20)

Pirelli Pzero Nero GT
9.5J rims
265/35ZR21 (+1.00% to overall diameter comparing stock 255/40/20)
11.5J rims
305/30ZR21 (+0.3% to overall diameter comparing stock 295/35/20)

I always prefer Michelin Pilot Super Sport however there are no options available wider than 295/30/21.

The question is, which grips better: 295 PSS vs. 305 PS2/Pirelli?

Maybe there are even wider alternatives?

P.S. The car is Panamera Turbo 700+hp (FVD T20+ turbos) - grip is very important

Nice congrats,

I'm running Pzero's on mine but not like I have 600-800hp on my car. Check with Ben B. He has upgraded turbo's and I believe is running Pzero's but in 22 ?

Hmm maybe its custom fault , because they should have a pair ready . Upgrating turbocharger compresor is less than a day job . Who convinced you about the ipd ? Its same outlet size as oem with same throttlebody diameter. You can grab an agency y-pipe for 1k on ebay shipped or get a fabspeed y-pipe from house motorsport , they offer crazy 15% for 6speed members

I just decided to give IPD a try Agency Power haven't carbon y-pipe in stock

Regarding the turbos. Its defenitly not 1 day work because it is not inhouse of FVD. They sending it to another german factory. Any way it took much more time than i (and fvd) expected.

Pzero is a terrible tire compared to Michelin or Nitto.

I don't know why they put them on exotic cars from factory.

dhh has a spectacular aura aboutdhh has a spectacular aura about
I have a set of rims and new rubber off my PTT.

They are 21" Vorsteiner VS-310 3 pc rims.

Here is a link to the website. http://www.vorsteiner.com/forged-wheel/3-piece/vsm-310/overview/

They have new rubber with about 200 miles on them. They wheels were refinished to brushed from matte grey by vorsteiner and have 200 miles on them - one rim has a small nickfrom a rock or something otherwise nearly perfect.

The rubber still has the small whiskers on them too,

the tires are - Pirelli P-Zero nero 335/30 ZR21 and 265/35 ZR21

I would love to give them a new home - they just sit on my tire rack in my garage. Have 2014 TPMS in the and also a set of prior TPMS if needed too.

New over 11k - give me over $4,000 plus true shipping costs and they are yours!

You might be able to fit a 325/30R21 PS Cup 2 at the rear. They are classified as semi-slick.

There are no sizes of PS Cup 2 for 21" panamera wheels
Also did you try to drive in Cup 2 in wet conditions? It's a nightmare comparing to PSS.

Stay away from Pirelli.

Did you check eBay for PSS tires in your size?

Nitto invo are a great substitute for the PSS if they have your size.
