Old Pany interior is better than the new.
The bigger Nav screen is nice but I'm not a fan of the instruments being a screen. While I realize it gives you more display options, I feel the old Pany is more true Porsche sports car-ish vs luxury car-ish. The old center consoul with the buttons is way more appealing to me. The new one seems too Tesla-ish for my taste. Not a huge fan of the steering wheel either, I think the old sport design wheel is much better looking. The panaramic roof option is nice though. Other than that I can't see giving up my '13 GTS for one. Am I the only one that thinks this or am I too old fashioned?

I think new interior looks much better than the current model line, but that doesn't mean that I am going to rush to trade in my 2014 PTT any time soon.
I like the larger Nav screen, configurable dash as well as the touchscreen buttons in the center console - they all work together to give the car a much more modern look.

The spine button layout was one of the things that attracted me to the Panamera, and although the 2017 interior does look more modern, I think the 2010-16 looks more unique and luxurious.

It's a bag of mixed nuts the new panny.
The only issue I see is the lack of tactile feel possibly in the new one compared to the older model W buttons. Other than that they have done a superb job with the exterior even though it reminds me of an audi A7.

I agree it looks more modern both interior and exterior but except for the bigger Nav screen and panoramic roof I prefer 10-16. Of course, I still don't get those that think the Pany is ugly.

I agree with all the comments so far on the center console. I like the old layout.

Agreed. Finger print city.

To me:
G1 Wins
+ Door/Trim Design - I liked the thick metal lower outline (on the doors especially) that they dropped with G2. I'm wondering if this is being saved for the mid-cycle refresh in 2020.
G2 Wins
+ Steering wheel! Small airbag, thick wheel, true paddles, circular selector for driving mode, etc.
+ Navigation/Screen/Gauge layout (nice to be a hybrid of old & new; not so far as Audi has gone by keeping the analog tachometer).
+ (minor) Black roof lining in base trim instead of the typical light gray.
+ 4-zone climate system looks spectacularly high-end.
+ Corrected manual shift mode orientation on the shifter (pull back for upshift; push forward for downshift)!
Ties
- Center console/button layout - I could like either. Fingerprints are a non-issue; just wipe with a microfiber once a day and you're done (and it is easy as there are not cracks/crevices for stuff to get stuck or spill into)
- Seats. Seats are still great in both.

I do have a question I cannot find an answer to - why is there no Heads-Up Display (HUD) in the current car or even mentioned for the new car? This is a feature many newer luxury cars offer (including my '13 335i) and is fantastic.
