Painted Calipers

I went ahead and painted my calipers this weekend, I wanted something a little different than the red seen on most cars. I know Porsche uses Silver, Black, Red and Acid Yellow so I went with a neon green.

Prep, scotch bright and masking

After a first light coat

Second coat

Porsche stickers applied and a clear coat of engine gloss applied

That looks really good! Funny I was thinking of doing something with mine as well, not sure the neon green would go well with my theme, but very well done. How many total coats did you put on (paint & clear)

Two coats of paint, and the clear coat is just sprayed over the decals.

I am not talking about the PCCB brake calipers. The hybrid calipers looks close to the same.

Read "lime green" and was prepared to not like it but that actually looks amazing.
