Posted on the actual new member forum but wanted to introduce myself here as well.
First post and glad to be part of this forum. This is my first Porsche (Panamera GTS) and I'm loving it so far. Been an Audi guy for the past decade owning three vehicles of the brand during that time. Recently married and now with a baby boy and wanted a more daddy like vehicle and this was a great upgrade from my last car which I modified a little too much to be family friendly.
Looking to learn a lot here and contribute as much as I can.
On to the pics. Here was my most recent Audi build.
Here is the new baby hauler. In love with it so far.

Congrats and welcome to the 6! Ive owned some Audis but nothing compares to a Porsche. You wont look back.....
I totally agree !! I was driving only Audi's for last 12 years and now I'm very happy that I didn't buy RS7 (last one was S8 V10), almost, just almost LOL
As I'm also looking to go from an S4 to a GTS - what is your initial impressions and pros/cons of the GTS vs the audi?
Freeway comfort one vs the other (I do a lot of freeway driving), and overall city driving (pulling away from lights, passing, etc)?
Does it feel like a much bigger vehicle or did you adapt easily? As I'm still debating on which to get (GTS / Turbo Panny vs Cayenne) - Looking forward to your input!

Don't get me wrong, the PGTS is a lot more car than the S4 but it was an easy transition from the Audi to the Porsche. I can go for days about pros so let me just focus on some cons. Definitely a lot more to maintain and DIYs are very limited as most people get it serviced at the dealerships. Information is out there but not as much as I was used to with the Audi forums. Obviously you will consume a lot more gas pending on how you drive and the tank takes in 25 gallons insurance it also higher but that's a given.
For driving comfort I haven't had it that long but I also have the 18 way adjustable seats. Its been great for the minimal miles I've driven it. I've also read on one of the threads that a gentleman drove for 8 hours and was the most pleasant and most comfortable drive he has ever had.
This car is beast if you want it to be so pulling from lights all depends on how heavy your foot is. Passing people will not be an issue at all. Maybe its all in my head but this happened to me a few times already but I've been waved or signaled to go first even though clearly it was the other cars right of way. The car/brand gets respect and I love it but I believe this will just be your daily and you own other amazing cars.
The car definitely is longer and wider but you don't feel it when you're driving. I am definitely more aware of it when I am parking or driving slowly through the parking lot. I am more cautious since the front end is longer even though I have the sensors. I also take wider turns just to be sure that I don't hit the curb with the rear wheels when turning. For sure a lot more blind spots here compared to the Audi.
Went with the GTS for a few reasons (sorry I cant comment on the Cayenne). Honestly I was content with a Panamera 4 or 4S, but the GTS had better options interior wise (at least for me and I'm not speaking for all Panny owners) but also had a great selection of options that was in a turbo (the bigger brakes and performance sport exhaust to name a few). Overall I am happy with the car and was a great upgrade from the S4. This is a logical move from VW to Audi and now Porsche. You'll never look back.
