New Panamera Owner

Greetings,

Purchased a CPO 2014 4S and then promptly left on a 3 week RV trip to warmer climates. Now that I have returned have addressed all outstanding issues with selling dealership - they have been great to work with. I had an stuck oil temp gauge and chrono with a missing hand - both replaced under warranty. They ordered the parts while I was traveling.

Spent last few days of warmer weather here removing all bottom body cover panels in order to inspect and wash down all under carriage parts. Found essentially zero rust (only on a couple of small hold down bolts on heat shields). Also completely cleaned engine compartment while front bottom shield was off. I have a 2-post lift which makes this type of job much easier.

Have a 1500 mile trip planned in the near future, so will get to experience first hand the long distance road manners of the Panamera. I just sold my 2003 Mercedes S-600 (V-12) so I have some experience with large, complicated German road cars.

I am a major DIY'r and hope to be able to contribute to this board in the future.

Regards,

Chuck
