I have a 2012 P GTS and would like to improve on the factory ecu settings in terms of the transmission.

when driving at speed and coming into a slow corner or u turn, if the gear was at 6th or 7th gear, the software would not gradually shift down as per 2013+ Porsche models. instead it would be stuck at either 3rd or 4th sometimes even 5th. Making acceleration off the corner ever so sluggish and dumb.

does anyone else experience this? I know some would say, select Sport Plus and ignore the issue, but even in Sport and sometimes Sport Plus, this issue does seem to persist.

I have contacted the local Porsche service center, and they have said that there are no software updates for the 2012 as it is simply too dated.

is there something I can do to improve this?

Too dated for software upgrades? I would take the car in to ensure it has the latest SW, I believe there weren't significant changes between the 2012/2013 (last year before minor body changes)
