Driving modes
I took an initial test drive of a Panamera 4, and during the test the driving modes were toggled using the touch sensitive buttons on the center console - turning Sport on and off, and then setting the suspension switch to either 1 light or 2 lights.
I understand from the chrono package, the switching is done from a round button on the steering wheel, toggling from normal to sport, sport+ or individual.
Does anyone know how these settings from the latter relate to the former? Is there an equivalent of the individual setting if you don't have the Sport Chrono package?
Thanks!

The sport mode , without chrono, will firm up the shift points at higher RPMs. The chrono, which I don t have is supposed to also change the gas pedal postions making it more sensitive. Does nothing for making it any faster in any way.
Chrono was always better in the older Porsches because there was not way to firm up the AUTO shifting points before they started with the SPORT setting. On the manual shifters (6 speed) CHRONO didn t do much on the 911s.
Suspension settings 1 and 2 do just as you guessed. They firm up suspension noticeably. I like the middle setting best for comfort/handling.
There have been lots of older posts in the 911 section fully explaining the Chrono. I tried to shorten it up for you.
