My AWE exhaust developed broken rear mounts on both sides and unfortunately AWE didn't even give me the courtesy to return my phone call. Either way, I found a local machinist and builder who was up to the challenge for repairing the stainless steel exhaust.
On to the pictures:
Hole/situation:
Repaired Properly with higher gauge patch around the developed hole and a better brace structure.
I see your location is Philly. You should have just went to their corporate office which isn't too far from you. I'm surprised they didn't help you out. It may be a hassle for you to get a refund from them with what it cost you, but id do it out of principle.
They were just making parts for the VW/Audi crowd and now trying to get into the BMW and Porsche market as well. They need to know that they need to take care of their customers or posts like this can hinder their image with the crowd.
BTW, how does it sound? Got any clips to share?

You're right...I had called with full intentions of taking the car to them, but they didn't even return my calls. I don't expect them to refund anything nor did I expect them to repair it for free...I simply wanted to have them look at it while I wondered around their show room.
Either way...car is solid and I'll record some clips and provide shortly!

OP, I am genuinely sorry about this. As this is my first day back from vacation, I am lubing up the gears to get back in motion. I must ask, what number did you call, whom did you speak with, and did you leave a message? Also, I do not have an PMs from you (I have been fielding while on my trip) -- did you try emailing anyone as well?
For the record, since your system is warrantied for you life, you could have simply came in and we could have repaired the system then and there. I do understand the urge to call ahead of time for a potential appointment scheduling, though.
Not sure if and when you've visited us before, but in case you didn't know -- we're now located in Horsham (as of 2015), residing in a new state-of-the-art 32,000 sq. ft. R&D/manufacturing facility. I'd love to show you around!

Hi there! Hope you've enjoyed your time here on 6spd.
Just a fun fact -- we've been serving the Porsche market since 2004 (online) and servicing them even longer, manufacturing award-winning applications dating back to the 996, and we haven't stopped -- ranging from the Carrera GT to the newest generations of 991 Carrera and Turbo, and soon-to-be Panameras. The BMW market has been great to us, too, since launching 41 products on a single day back in 2015. Our SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the F8X platform and exhaust suite for the F3X have designated their places on the podium.
If you'd ever like to come see how we do things day-in and day-out, head down from NJ and pay us a visit.
As always, here if needed. Direct contact information is in my signature.

Hi Josh. Very glad that AWE responded to this thread. I am very familiar and fond of your company and products (I did misspoke about your long tenure regarding Porsche parts). I have owned Audis the past decade and have purchased multiple items from your company and are very happy with them. I have also visited your old and new locations in the past on your BBQs which always had a great turn out. I am in no way bashing your company but merely looking out for my fellow enthusiasts. Like I said I’m glad someone from your company stepped up as not many other companies really would. Hope to see more parts on our Porsche platform!

Ah! I'm glad you made it out to the first year at our new facility. Boy has it evolved since then -- we now have a robot! Pretty radical stuff.
Thanks for the kind words, nonetheless. I always appreciate users looking out for one another.
I'm always around -- typically moving at a fast pace and not usually in one place longer than a couple minutes, but always around
