phone solution for 2017 panamera?

Wondering if anyone has come up with a good solution for keeping your phone handy in the new panamera. The center console is useless, there is no CD slot and the air vent closes making it unacceptable. Only place I've found to be useful is the larger cup holder which then leaves you without the ability to use the cup holder. Any suggestions are appreciated - Thanks

orangeokie is an unknown quantity at this point
I rarely have any "cups" inside the car, but when I do I use the cup holders over the glove box. I usually lay my phone (it is inside a leather case so not prone to sliding around) on the center console just in front of the center cup holder.

This solution doesn't work in the new body style. I used to do the same thing in my 2012, but on the 2017's there are no cup holders above the glove box and the new center console is too short to hold a phone

maybe this solution may work for you. It did work in the 2010 models by squeezing between the top pad and the radio/vent. it may work on any porsche I figure.
