Hi...


Not sure if this is PCM related or not, but...


Every time I turn on my car my radio automatically powers on.


Every time I park and turn my car off, I make sure that I turn off audio, and AC... but for some mysterious reason, audio seems to turn back on every time I start the car.


I mean... correct me if I am wrong, I don't always want to listen to the music... I just want to drive in peace.... lol


I tried to search and read through the manual and nothing... Can someone help or bring insight into this?

That's just the way the system was designed. T don't understand the logic though. I make sure to turn down the radio volume to minimum so when I start the car the volume is barely audible. At that point just push the on/off button or turn up the control.

 

mzigler38 is correct. Alternative is to switch the PCM to AUX or another audio input that is not connected.
