Has anyone had any experience recovering from a fully dead battery? Will I have any computer call outs?

Putting vehicle into operation
After the battery is connected or after a fully discharged battery is charged, the PSM warning light lights up on the instrument panel and a message appears on the multi-function display in the instrument panel to indicate a fault.

This fault can be corrected with a few simple steps:

Start the engine.
To do this, turn the ignition key or the control unit (on vehicles with Porsche Entry & Drive) to ignition lock position 2 twice.
With the vehicle stationary, perform a few steering movements to the left and right and then drive a short distance in a straight line until the PSM warning light goes out and the message is erased from the multi-function display in the instrument panel.
If the warnings do not disappear, then:
Drive carefully to the nearest qualified specialist workshop.
Have the fault corrected.
After the warnings go out: Stop the vehicle in a suitable place.
Store the end position for the power windows.

Teach tires on vehicles with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Store end position on vehicles with a slide/tilt roof.

So it means that simple battery disconnect ( not replace or recovery from dead) will lead into these issues ?
I came across this when installing KW DLC and stopped the job, actually KW manual says:

Please disconnect the battery according to the manufacturers information.
Caution:
At some vehicles it is necessary to teach the control units after reconnecting the battery. We recommend to read the vehicle
failure memory before you disconnect the battery, to exclude possible faulty sources after the KW DLC installation.

Don't understand at all what means ''read the vehicle failure memory before you disconnect the battery'' -- what for ?! Failure memory before disconnecting ? Or my English is not good enough ... What I think is that I have to know somehow if my vehicle is one of ''some vehicles it is necessary to teach the control units after reconnecting the battery'' ... saga begins ....

 

I replaced my battery last week and didn't have to reset anything.

 

My new battery charger has a "battery recovery" function on it. I used it to recharge my F-150 battery that had inadvertently been full discharged.

 

that's a bit diffident story ...
