Panamera GTS Export to Portugal

Hi guys

I am moving to Lisbon for work and as cars are brutally expensive over there, I am thinking of taking my 2013 GTS.
Two immediate challenges:
a) I need a COC, a Certificate of Conformity. I called my local Porsche dealer, who sent me to Porsche North America who send me to Porsche Germany, who don't answer. Any idea where to get this?
b) I will have to fit a KM/H odometer instead of the MPH. Would anyone know if the electronic one can be switched and is sufficient or do I have to change the dial, which means that the entire instrument cluster needs to be changed (and what does that cost?).

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks for your help

MoOriginal is infamous around these parts
Hi
Ive bought a UK car to Spain.
Let me start by saying the roads in Portugal are like the roads in UK - ****e - i mean the state of the road repair etc.
But of course the scenery is much nicer and lot fewer cars on the road...

I have switched through the menu - from MPH to KPH in the centre readout
search in manual you do it through the car settings wheel on the right hand side of the steering wheel.

conformity - not sure - are you intending to put it on PT plates ?
Otherwise can you not drive as a foreign car for a while you try and sort out its certificate?

In the UK we have a v5 logbook - which would count as conformity enough as we are still part of the the EU - only just !

physical changes

I am sure that with enough patience one can overcome the challenges of the import-paperwork.

My main worry is that I would have to change the instrument cluster to go to a metric system, i.e. km/h instead of mph; knowing Porsche costs that could be astronomical (has anyone here ever done this and would have an idea on price?).

Appreciate your help

as stated above, you can make some of those changes thru the menu.

I ve heard their emissions are draconian, so I would check to see if the car you are planning to take will meet their standards. Other than that, some great futbol to be had there. Good luck.
