I finally just finished my project on my panamera v6 and wanted to give an update and thank everybody for their help
So I did this :
I installed quadtips ( to look like a 4 s)
I removed the xpipe and put back the old pipe with resonators ( I had the raspy sound from the xpipe)
I installed 2 exhausts from magnaflow (just the back) my new sound is not raspy and deep !!!
I removed the word panamera from the back
I blacked out the chrome bar and the tail lights.
I did a lot of research for a panamera V6 to get the best sound
The best thing to do is to remove only 1 resonator and keep the 2 other ones (vip)
change just the 2 mufflers in the back : By memory they were called magnaflow street race it cost me around 600$ mufflers and installation included in montreal canada for a crazy sound!! I can tell you where I did it if you are in the area.
no need to spend more money honestly on X pipe, whole exhaust system etc. Unless it’s a gts...
I got a cayenne gts now and I dont regret my choice
Yup agree, about spending big buck , it’s not worth for 5 wheel horse power
But just to meake sure , do you still have resonator in the middle of the car ? I was thinking about replacing muflers ( right behind rear bumper ) and keep resonator . Are there more than one in the midle of the car ? Sorry for stupid question but I didn’t get a chance to pull belly cover off.
I also can’t find much videos with home brew exhaust system for pan 3.6

There are 3 resonators all in the middle they kept 2 , if not it will sound raspy...
yes, just replacing the rear mufflers is the best option.
I changed also the tips to give a better look (quadtips)

Told you re-installing the resonator would get rid of that rasp. Looking good man.

I bought the Track Editon Performance Exhaust from AWE Tuning and it sound beautiful! the closest sound I could get to a AKrapovic exhaust system. it wil set you back a little under 3,000. but worth it. its quiet at normal speeds and sounds like a race car when you punch it!
