2012 Porsche panamera s , a/c isnt working not cold air at all seems the compressor isnt kicking on , getting this fault code
008140 : ac compressor short circuit to battery positive / open circuit . Compressor isnt getting power so is it burned out or are their any modules for the a/c unit

Im sure you probably checked the connector on the compressor to ensure it is getting signal. If that is OK, then probably leak in system burned it out.
If leaking, you may have probably started seeing the symptoms of less cool, no water puddles under car after driving, etc.
