That's crazy, I was just considering this lift out of sheer convenience for both the Panamera and my C5Z. I've gotten to the point that I strongly dislike using a floor jack with jack stands and just barely able to crawl under my Vette. A buddy of mine let me borrow his ramps recently (the bs plastic radiator drain plug sheered off on the Panamera) and I've gotta say, driving up and parking with loads of space under the GTS was awesome. A lift would be even better.

You will have to measure to verify it is the same for second/current gen Panamera.
Thanks for the confirmation dudecs; that is very helpful information!

Got everything setup, including the 6" extensions. It is a very nice setup... Here are a couple of pictures of a 2016 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid on a Quickjack BL-5000 SLX with the extensions:

Hey Dogwood, yeah I can understand that. This really was a long term effort for me too... I've been working on my wife for years.

She really like the idea as I do the maintenance on all our cars, she's just not too keen on the price..
If she can find a better job that would make it more likely to happen.

Which blocks did you use?

It comes with a low set of 4 blocks and a tall set of 4 blocks. Because the extension adds ~ 2", I had to use the low set of blocks with my car on the normal suspension setting. They worked perfectly fine seated over the top of the jack points (~ 3/4 coverage of each jack point and the car felt completely stable (as I pushed from each side and front/back). If I raised the car prior to lifting, I imagine I could have used at least the tall set of blocks, and possibly both sets together, which would have provided additional lift overall. The pictures that i posted were on the highest quickjack lift setting. There is a lower setting that would be probably ~6" lower, helpful I would guess if you were also working in the engine compartment.

For my wife's SUV (infiniti jx35), i used both blocks, low on top of tall per quickjack online (youtube) instructions, and i got plenty of height (~9" above the floor), again with complete stability.

I'm pleased and grateful...I was kind of worried that this wasn't going to be long enough, even with the extension, for both of our cars. It was a waste of worry. It works very nicely and is quite simple to use...though the lifts aren't light once you add the extensions to them...

The quickjack works great! Used it on my Vette this morning, used the small blocks did not need the extensions. Plenty of room under the car even with my stout/portly body shape. On to the Panamera this afternoon.

I would say check your cars weight as well, older ones like mine are supposed to be over 5k.

I would love to use mine on the PTT but not until I get it on a scale.

Does anyone know if the slx model with the extension would be long enough to lift Cayenne?
