How hard is it to remove door handkes, to change chome, and polish scratches underneath?
Never looked into it, wondering what time commitment it would be and difficulty level.

So, went through this when I was getting my paint detailed. You do not remove the handle so much as the door assembly which includes the window. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the hardest, I would say this is a 4 and you need two people.

 

If it's more about the scratches underneath, you can get at them with compound on a finger (gloved of course) and work through standard paint correction protocol... it's pretty straight forward. As mentioned though - handle removal is a pain 😊
