Shopping for a preowned Panamera
Hello everyone! I’m new to the forum and new to Porsche. My wife has become interested in the Panamera and we have begun to look around. We test drove a 2015 Panamera 4 yesterday and she loved it! She didn’t like the color, black, but loved the price...see below.

She prefers this one, but she doesn’t prefer the price!

My question to you all is what is a good offering price on each vehicle? The black one has been on the lot since June so the sales manager said that it was pretty much at its bottom price (they always say that!). According to the CarFax on the white one they’ve only had it about a couple weeks, but it has had 3 prior owners. It’s the nicest looking one though and it’s certified.
She thinks the white one is “too manly looking”, but I like it!
Thanks for your help!!!!

Both look like fine examples (low mileage as well) of the base model Panamera. Love the color combo on the white one as I dislike the wood grain interior that a lot of these cars come with. I’m sure what ever one you choose, you will be more than happy, I can only speak for the turbo model but it is simply amazing machine that gets looks everywhere I go.
I can share my own experience. Things that you want to think about are what your non-negotiables are first - for me, they include:
Based on your two options above, I feel like the white one you like is a slightly better looking car and deal. You'd be buying a CPO from a Porsche dealer and the upgrades look good. I'd say that based on what my sister and I paid, you're getting yourself a good deal if you can knock a couple of thousand from both. I mean, why not negotiate. The one that's been on the lot for a while, I'd go more aggressive with the haggling. And if you're not in a rush, I'd wait until month end or quarter end to negotiate.
Like you, I bought the base model which from a drive perspective, is good. As I'm driving it more, wish that it was speedier at times without having to turn on Sports mode because in our area, 50-55 mph is the standard speed limit.
But as Mike_PTT said, it's a gorgeous car and I get looks on the car all the time! Heck, every time I walk into the garage and then turn the engine on, it is exhilarating...I don't even fight DH to go chore shopping anymore!!! '
Good luck and let us know what you end up getting!
- Don't want a car that has been in an accident - unfortunately, there are only two ways to tell this (of which one can be unreliable): Carfax and a PPI
- Want low mileage
- Want a CPO - everyone on here seems to think that owning a Panamera out of warranty is a bad idea. For me especially because I am not a DIY car-fixer
- Wheels - I know that these are changeable but I'd prefer to get nice stock wheels like the 911 ones that I ended up with

I just bought both cars from your link. Thank you for the info.
Just kidding.
IMO, decide on what price you are willing to pay, then look for a car that will fit the price. Cars will always be there, so don't rush. Best time to buy sport car is usually around January/February, when not many are buying.
Whatever you do, PPI is a must on these cars (unless you are willing to gamble another 10k in repairs after you buy).
