2014 Panamera Spoiler and Trunk Door won't open. Possibly Water Damage
Hi Folks 2014 Panamera 4 has been sitting outside under the rain for 3 days. I realized that there was water under the spoiler. Drain channels were blocked with the tree leaves etc.
Right now trunk door won't lock. It's not auto-open/close, spoiler won't open/close, and left tailgate Led and stop light won't work. Before the tailgate completely is gone there was light blinking. Please see them in the video under this link;

I researched a bit and it's a common problem and possibly real control unit failure. Does anybody have an idea where the control unit is and any shop to fix it/ replace it around New York-New Jersey area?
Thank you.

How long has the car been with the clean drain channels? The same happened with me once as well and the car needed to sit overnight before the trunk started working again. Maybe leave the car running for a good amount of time so any moisture dries out. These past few days have been cold so I would make sure the control unit is dry.

I live in Colorado where my 2014 Panny Turbo sits outside under big leafy trees. I have to clean out the drain holes every fall . I leave my spoiler up all winter as the water freezing really messes with the mechanics of the spoiler. I have never had the trunk mechanism fail. Good luck. If it dries out and works, you may be able to seek a weatherproofing solution that Porsche never thought of.
