i just purchased a 13 Panamera twin turbo with 70k the 2 rear windows (smaller ones) have cracks. any reason for this is it common?
all the window regulators are broken and making the gear stripping noise and misalignment up and down. also the dont go all the way down just half front and back.
also sunroof motor is unplugged im assuming its broken lol.
drive side window has like air bubbles??? misalignment lowest it goes down metal piece in window channel seal? move if i move it with a flat head screwdriver small window crack?? lowest it goes down are these wheel stock/oem? haven't seen them clear bubbles looks like window defective only one like this. also no window tint film on it. i plan to tint them.
My car doesn't have the shaded/blacked out parts of the glass. I wonder if your car has the acoustic glass and if that's why there's part of it that's blacked out. Have you run the vin to see what the car was spec'd with? www.vinanalytics.com
To me, it looks like someone tried like hell to get into that car. Thus the broken rear windows from prying, the misaligned glass, and the popped clips. Removing the door panels is not a difficult job - just tedious. If you have the right nylon tools and the torx bits, you'll do fine. Once you get the panels off, you should be able to see what's monkeying up the works.
ok i just figure something out. look like its bullet proof glass... is this something i can change back to stock???? drivers front outside drivers front inside found this in the glove box looks like some kind of siren??? doesn't work though have to follow the wires
Yeah dude, I think that's it. I thought the glass seemed thicker. It's also why the windows don't go down all the way. Cool car! How did you come across it?
Also, since it's armored, if you really wanted to get the windows back to normal, you're going to have to swap over a lot of internal-door stuff and maybe even the panels. I imagine that the conversion required massive modifications to the door and components.
