i just bought a 2012 porsche panamera for very good deal. 75k miles and great condition. the only problem was the boot doesn’t open properly when pushing the button. it opens but not all the way. and when closing with the push button it sends 3 beeps and have to manually push it down. any diagnosis and will it be expensive?

 

The opening height can be set lower to accommodate garage clearance issues. Try holding the lever and push the lift gate until it opens all the way and see if that resets the limit.

 

to set the opening height of the tailgate you need to push it manually to the height you want (once it stops under its own power) then press and hold the tailgate close/open button until it beeps. That will set the opening height.
