Drive THIS Saturday - North Georgia MTNS !!!

It's time for the semi-annual mountain drive of the local Pcar & Fcar crew. Last drive in December had over 35 cars with lots of fun.

Always looking for more - at the very least come meet us for the send off.

Meet this saturday 4/9/05 @ 7:30am Barnes & Noble Parking Lot on Mansell Rd just East of GA 400

exact address:
7660 North Point Parkway
Suite 200
Alpharetta, Georgia 30022

the drive lasts in full about 4 hrs but there are several "checkpoints" where you could turn back if time is of the essence.

see ya there!

Lizzard,

What a fun day. The weather couldn't have been any nicer. Seems we lost you after heading out of Suches. Was the GF a bit nervous?

Thanks for setting it up. Eric

The in the guy in the white 993 with the large spoiler got tagged at 80 mph. Not too fast until you realize that the speed limit was 35. Just told him to back it down. Damn lucky.\

When is the next ride?

Not too pleased is the understatement of the year.

What was this about the trooper?

On the way from Suches to Morganton, one of the guys got pulled over. Would have been me too, but the M3 ahead of me had a radar detector. He got caught on radar doing 80. Amazingly, the trooper let him go.

I was up there again today on my Fat Boy. Beautiful day. Sad though. We got pulled over at a traffic stop to check licenses and during that stop, the trooper told me that a cyclist was taken out by helicopter as he hit a guardrail on that same section of road where the cop with the radar had been sitting yesterday.
