I just drove my dads '65 gto and this is nothing. There is not going to be rain, and if so, it is just water.

In other words, man up and get those engines fired up too.

Rain bands still coming through with wind... We are forecast to get 2" of rain today... it is just about 7:00am... I'm out and I would guess others driving may also be.

IMHO this should have been moved to the rain date when there was the potential of the Dennis being an issue. It would have given enough notice to all to reschedule for next weekend...

Good Luck... Hope you have a good turn out and a good time to all...

Safe driving...

I understand how and why for this forum, however, predicted 2" of rain.... this is Florida, we could get that within 10 minutes.

i expect the weather to clear up around 12/1 o'clock, Dennis is moving very quickly towards the panhandle. it will land fall by 11.

*unfortunately we could not change the date of the event. Beyond our Dept. control.*

However, with all of the talk this event has generated, we may have one at the end of the summer. Then of course there always Oktobur Fest.

For your information I would not drive in a 'predicted' 2" of rain even if it was not a storm..... Yes in Florida you can get caught in a shower.. That is different then KNOWING your going to be in that much rain...

Also, Not that it matters much, but your information on the storm is not correct. It will hit land about 2-3:00pm. For good info go to Nhc.com in the future. 3pm is what is being stated as I type on the weather channel for land fall of the center.

I understand about not being able to change the date. We will see you at the next one...

Stay dry...

I have to say minus the small shower on the way up, it was a great event. Nice people and always great to chat with the tech's onsite.

Kudos to the guys and gals at Suncoast.

I agree, Very nice set up. Spoke with several very helpful techs. It would be nice to have some type of monthly event down there.
Thanks,
Luis
