Hurricane Alley Rallye
Date: August 13th
Time: 11:00am
Location: Starbucks on 5th Ave, Downtown Naples Florida
Just cant reason with hurricane season so lets have some fun while we are in it!
The route this time will end at a nice location for lunch and then off to the track [if it isn't flooded!] All cars are welcomed and as usual, directions will be handed out the day of the drive.
The drive will be rain, hurricane, or shine!

So I just got back from the Rod & Gun club and they are getting excited about us coming down there. They wanted me to tell everyone that they do not take plastic, so no credit cards.
Let me repeat myself, NO CREDIT CARDS!
Parking from what I know will be sectioned off for us as well as having a private dinning area next to the pool onsite.
As for the route, it is going to be just under 50 miles, mainly rural driving.
Reminder before leaving:
Full tank of gas
Reccomended to have a walkie talkie
Bring Cash for lunch and the races
Bring your cameras and camcorders
And bring your friends too!

I am thinking 40+people from the internet response I have been getting. I do know that there is a group from Miami coming over [not the FSB].
Afterwards, pending rain, there is a very good chance that the drag races will be going in just to the north of us. If so, I think to watch it is like 10 bucks or something. You can also purchase race fuel out there as well.
Edit:

Irene is no where near us, but we got our hurricane!

Your not driving that far anyway... It will use to much rubber on your 285 Sam's club rear tires...
I know that there was a couple of clubs coming in with classic cars, but I learned to to depend on them.
From what I know of:
2004 SRT10 Viper
02 S4 Avant Stg III
04 E55 AMG
04 S4 exhaust and a few others
98 Turbo Civic Hatch
05 R32 GTI
05 R32 GTI - ABT, Miami
05 GLI, ABT Miami
06 2.0 A3, Miami
There are a few other forums that have posted about this. The response from them seems to be Mustang Mach 1's, a TT Z06, some older 5.0's as well. The bike scene should be pretty strong as there is a group of people coming in that have almost every sorts sport bike out there. Aprila's , R1's, R6's, Busa's, Boxercups, everything.
The brothers who own the E55 and the S4 V8 are comig back from Spain this week. Their dad has a collection of sport & luxury cars including an F40, CGT, and a Maybach 62 among other vintage racers like his og Sheby AC Cobra and an origional Hudson Hornet that raced out at Daytona back in the day of beach racing.

Plus, I think I'm supposed to help a friend of mine move that day.
