Im in, with my new 19's!

 

Hey, we saw ya zoomin' up the 5 to Carlsbad Sat morning. We were in a green Toyota minivan going to the karting day. You passed us like we were going backward, then when you were going up the hill past the Del Mar track, you hit the throttle about 200yds ahead of us, and we could hear it bigtime from all the way back there!

Is that all stock? Sounded pretty mean.

sounds like I was either already in third or dropped down to it (autostick) and really opened er, cleared the carbon buildup when you heard it...
engine is stock...
high flow cats and cat-back exhaust - both Magnaflow...
dyno'ed at 374 prior to the 2 bolt ons...
dyno'ed at 397 after...
not bad for a 4,300lb 4-door with car seats...

It was pretty early for me, so I probably remembered the wrong hill at the time you hit the throttle. Maybe it was the one going up past Manchester exit? Who knows. Anyway, your car sounded sweet and was lookin' good.

and I do remember going up the hill...
I hit it and had one thought about 5 seconds later...
I'm in the wrong "lighting situation"...
(basically blind and not being able to see backwards behind me) to see if anything is coming hard to take advantage of coming up your six in the sun)...

My wife and I really enjoyed checking it out for the first time. Not too many cars were there, but had fun nonetheless.
