the track is a client of my viper friend, who is going to stop over there today.. but you are in charge, he will reinforce to them that we are coming, hopefully at 3..

Seeing as my car is sporting Michelin Pilot Sport Cups (basically slicks) and they are calling for rain all day tomorrow, I will not be attending. Have fun and hopefully we will have better weather the next time.

 

Alright here's the plan as I see it --

Meet there at 11:00 (which was the original set time, since people are likely to not check the thread for an updated time, not to mention it's listed on 2+ other forums)

Depending on weather head to lunch anywhere from 11:30 to 12:30 (I figure if it isn't raining we should take the time to check out cars...if anyone drives anything fun in the rain, if it's raining everyone who's coming should be there by 11:30 and we could head out then)

Then perhaps some sort of cruise (once again weather permitting) and end up back at CIR around start time.

Thoughts?

 

I will call you guys in the AM. I got in to chicago about 10 minutes ago from being out of town and got a phone call that I have to be at my walk-in for my new condo at 2pm in chicago. I will head out to CIR as soon as its done to meet you guys right as the racing starts. My phone number is 847-722-2092 so whoever wants to call me in the morning is more than welcome to. We should each call CIR and reserve our race spots in the morning. They open around 10am and if you call them tomorrow at 10am you can reserve your races for any time after 3pm. They will probably take a credit card number(I am guessing) and will reserve your races for you. I will call jermey in the morning to see what time he is going to reserve his races for and will make mine accordingly.

 

I have one thing that might prevent me from going but otherwise ill be there at 3 along with my buddy for racing. I am for sure not making the lunch/cruise at 11. Anyway, its late and im off to sleep!

 

Alright, I was running a little late and got there at about 11:15, I saw UneekTT pulling out but nobody else anywhere in sight.

I reserved 7 spots for races at 3:20 and 4:18. If you have never raced at CIR before you must be there no later than 3:00!!!

Thanks for setting up the Karting at Chicago Indoor Racing.. I must say that the 3 sessions that we raced exceeded my expectations.. we had a blast.. it was good to meet you guys in person..

ths facility certainly has much to offer.. food, drink, games etc..

next time we should do a better marketing pitch to get more 6 speeders there.. maybe an evening get together..?
