Chesapeake and Potomac Regions of PCA have organized a pair of “Challenge” events for the 2006 Season. Each Region will host one event. The day will start with regular autocross runs. Participants will be scored as part of the Host Region’s Season Points series; the Guest Region will not count that event as part of its Season Points series. At the end of all official runs, the fastest 6 cars from each Region will be identified, and 3 additional participants from each Region will be selected by random drawing. The 18 “Challengers” will then compete in a single elimination run-off, where the slowest car from each Region will be dropped after each set of runs. It will culminate with one Potomac driver competing against one Chesapeake driver for the overall crown, plus a discount coupon from Radial Tire Company – buy 2 Toyo tires and get 2 FREE. Come on out to vie for a spot on the regions team or just come on out to root for the home team.

Chesapeake Region will host the first Challenge Event on June 18th, at Ripken Stadium.

Potomac Region will host the second Challenge Event on August 27th at Millbrook HS in Winchester, VA. Registration: Follow this link to information about registering for their event.

This is going to be a pair of events that will be a lot of fun that you won’t want to miss!
