CENTRAL FLORIDA MEET- SAT. FEB 7th
Since so many are going I have a question. I have a set of silver guage trim rings that I have wanted to install for a while but have been afraid to do. Maybe someone can help me with it while we are there. Is there anything I should bring? Suggestions about installing them, like what to use to stick them to the guages while still being able to remove them is I want to.
Thanks
Thanks
I have not done that install but I think it is done with either two-sided tape or a clear silicone adhesive. I'm sure others will comment that have experience but I dont see why it can't be done day of the event.
Plus, I have a set of those aluminum rings that I am selling if anyone is interested.

P-nut I have them installed on my C4s. Did it myself very easy. Use clear silicone adhesive that way it can be rubbed off if you want to remove them. I will be there if you want I will bring what I used and we can do it at meet.
I put mine on with GE silicone as well. It's easier if you start with the tach ring. They do have some movement so you might have to hold each ring until the silicone sets up.
I would not recommend 2way tape.

Oh yeah.....They did say that Maxs room was the only one that they couldnt reduce. Yours in fact will now be $5000.00 a night so that they can make up the difference...
Thanks Bud...

I just reviewed an email from Rob regarding the accomodations and grounds at the Portofino. Based on what I could see on the site map, this place is awesome! There are lots of scenic areas, walks, piazza's (plazas), wooded areas, and beautiful architecture... anyone say photo opportunity?
This will be a great get-together thanks to Rob. He is doing alot of coordination with the Protofino, not only spending valuable time but also money to get this thing off without a hitch. I want to personally thank Rob for his hard work and hopefully this will become an annual (or even bi-annual) event for 6SpeedOnliners.

Britt, have to agree with you....I've stayed at the Portofino before. This place is awesome. Everyone who hasn't been there will truely be impressed.
Looking forward to it.
