"Going 60 West, exit Fullerton Rd. Make a right on exit and immediately left on Gale Ave. You will pass Home Depot and Sam's Club.

It will be a sight to see so many Porsches on the 60. "

Blacknight, thanks for directions. Yes it sure would be quit a site to see all the 996's. Hopefully it won't attract the wrong type of attention (ie. local Sheriff & CHP).

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

A 405 run with 40+ Porsches haulin @ss down the freeway would be SICK!!! I'm gettin antsy just thinkin about it! We need to designate a few passengers to capture this all on film. (Any takers?) Be sure to bring your digicams, boys & girls. If we're going to do this meet . . . let's do it the RIGHT way >> L.A. STYLE! Let's show 'em other fellow 6speeders which city ROCKS the hardest when it comes down to it. (Haha!)

safetywork - to avoid the "attention" you're referring to, we just make a quick bombthreat call to steer them in the opposite direction. That should keep them occupied for a while. (Oops! Am I thinking out loud again.)

Will meet you guys there between 7:30-8 at the old Ikea....though it may be easier said than done on a Sat. heheh

This reminds me of a Viper club I saw a couple of yrs ago on the 405...must've been AT LEAST 70-80 we saw.

Hi all, since Rodis and CA996 are helping with this slama jama event we need to meet between 7 and 7:30am and will leave the Ikea parking lot at 7:30am sharp. So all those intending on rolling with us please get there by 7:20am or else you will roll without us.

yea,
CA996 and I got to be in LA to help set everything up so we gotta meet at Ikea a little earlier. Or at least the two of us do. I want us all to roll up to LA together but Larry and I have to leave at 7:30. If you guys want to leave a little later then cool but if we roll all together, that would be dope. And the earlier it is, the harder and faster we can roll w/out Johnny on our backs. The reason for this is that when we roll from LA to Palos Verdes that will be a shorter and more mellow sprint. From Ikea to LA thats about 28 mile sprint. So if possible lets all roll to LA together and roll strong.
Ron

I make the drive from West LA to PV on a regular basis... on weekends after 10am it's frequently heavy bumper to bumper 20mph traffic on the 405 between Santa Monica Blvd all the way down to LAX. So basically don't expect to be driving fast from West LA down to Pacific Porsche.

i'll give a try this weekend. basically if 405 idea is cool we just gonna roll from West LA and exit before LAX. anyway, i'll give a try on the weekend.

joe,
i think u mean 10E to 110S.

don's worry about the route right now as i'm carefully plan it i know LAX area pretty well so we're just gonna have a little Hwy blast as well as local PCH run.
