Awesome guys! On that note, if you guys don't already have them you may want to think about picking up a Walkie talkie. I believe any Uniden or Motorola will work. I personally have the Motorola Talk-about. I think they can be had at Best Buy for under $75. They will be helpful for us for future runs as well as this one. We can coordinate the channel we will be on tomorrow night.

 

Thats a good idea. We tend to get separated.

The wife says she has not been overly impressed so far...I'll see when I get home what progress they have made...they'll be in tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow night is up in the air...I have other committments I am trying to move...I would love to go!

 

The meet usually gets going around 7:30 or so. But most people don't start showing up until close to 8:30-9pm.... Hopefully you can join us!!!!

Hey Byron,
I actually fought in the ADCC Trials in October but was beat (on points...guard pass) by a Pedro Sauer Black belt. I didn't get a invite this year... Also I didn't get to go to the competition because I had my daughters birthday party on Sat and my Nieces B-day party on Sunday. There have been quite a few guys in town for the fights and many of them have been training with us in NYC in preparation.
Hopefully I will do the trials the next year and get the invite the following....
I fought in the ADCC in Sao Paolo Brazil a few years ago and it was one of the best experiences I've had in all my years in the martial arts....

What's new with you? Did you see Barret Yoshida placed again? He's a super cool guy and also from your neck of the woods!

 

Str8 - Never heard of Barrett Yoshida because more interested in the kids and how they do. I will be looking for the resume when your not busy because I have some ideas and thoughts about you coming here for a seminar or whatever.

Will be helping Luis again with the Maui Jiu Jitsu open and the kids will be traveling to Honolulu for tournaments this summer.
