I personally like Sunday mornings at Riverside. Parking lot is empty (thanks to the Blue Laws) and there's a Starbucks in Barnes & Noble.

I still think a run up to Bear Mountain would be a blast...a couple of us did it about a month ago and despite one brief police encounter it was great...I heard someone may have hit 140mph on the way?

I've been pushing for it since March!! Perkins Memorial Drive is unreal and there are some great twisties on the other side of the Bear Mtn Bridge...where is Tim H...he is the upstate NY guru...

Sunday morning run to Bear Mountain sounds great - lots of nice roads (twisties) up there - always nice to cruise around Lake Welch right off the Palisades...
