South Florida event - May 27
South Florida event - May 27
There will be a car show at a very cool South Florida (Ft Lauderdale area) location on May 27. Stand by for more details (we'll spill our guts by mid-week).
Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, and all other "exotics" will be welcome.
(Hooters Girls will be there - what more do you need?

DCI was founded in and is based out of South Florida. The initial events will take place down here, but we'll branch out as time goes by.
There should be a sign-up page on the Web site (thedriversclub.us), but if you can't find it, either send me a PM or e-mail the club at driversclubintl@yahoo.com
The registration fee is $15 in advance, $20 day of show (space permitting) and all entries will receive a commemorative plaque, plus other stuff TBD.
We're still working on a few details, but the time and place are done deals. We'll have ads running locally, fliers for shops and Big 105.9 is apparently coming on board, too (it's good to have the Hard Rock as a partner)
Not too shabby for a first effort, huh?
What is ironic is that we tried to do things like this in another club, but got shot down by the Old Guard who ran the club for themselves. This will be different. "We'll treat you right" is the motto. More driving, more fun, zero politics and no snobbery - whether you have a 924 or an Enzo, you & it are welcome at the show.
And we guarantee that none of the five founders will "win" any of the trophies - despite a few seriously cool cars among us. This club is for the members. So is this show, so come on down.
