There was also a 996 GT3, and a 997TT, which I believe got pulled over doing something like 150mph, while racing an E46 M3.... and got out of it, from what I *heard*
I was hoping there would be some sort of drive post-show, but it just seemed like everyone went their separate ways...
The time I went way back in 2001 it was kinda the same thing. There were just way too many people on the drive afterwards from Crevier (or whatever it's called) BMW for it to be fun.
People all left afterwards. The free shwag bag and goodies were cool though.
