I was planning on going to Carlsbad but I may try to pick up the caravan to San Diego. I live in between Irvine and San Diego (Oceanside/Carlsbad area) and would like to join in if possible. Do you think you will make a pit stop before you reach San Diego? I would like to join in if possible.

 

Trader, Let me know were and what time you are meeting in SD. I'm up for a good run. The Del Mar Fair is on so traffic will be knackerd from Carlsbad to Del Mar.

 

We can do phone tag. Once we are near the on ramp where you are getting on I can call your cel. We will slowdown for you to merge in.

That is why we want to head down early. If we roll out around 6:45AM from Irvine Spectrum and traffic is minimal and the way we drive I think we will be in S.D 7:30AM to 7:45AM. The last trip took 50 minutes to get there.

We heading South on the 5 frwy. Everyone is welcome to join in on our caravan, all you need to do is get on the 5 frwy ahead of us when we drive near you.

Again, we are going to the Porsche parade so we are not stopping anywhere along the way except in an emergency.

I think I'll be heading up to Irvine instead...the PCA group tends to draw less FLASH than irvine. Its been a while...I wanna see some MC12s!

I may see you all later in the day/weekends though, have a safe drive down!

 

Whos going from La Jolla to Carlsbad to this meet? lol, I'd love to go but I don't have a ride home or to this meet.

 

I'm at a loss?? There are 3 meets tomorrow? 2 in Irvine, 1 in Carlsbad?? And 1 of the Irvine meets heading to SD for the Parade? Somebody fill me in?

 

Here are the run down, the Irvine is the Cars & Coffee meet every Sat., the other in Irvine is the Pcars run. Pcars is a group of Porsche manias from L.A/O.C. And last, the Carlsbad is another local event.

Now, the parade is an annual event hosts by PCA. It happens to be in S.D this year. The event runs all next week starting Sat.

If you never been to C&C you should come and see at least one. There are more Porsches here. If you want to see a big turn out of Ferrari, Lambos and others European exotics you need to go to the VCR in Calabasas.

If you are in to hot rods, muscle cars and the 50's go to BBB in Burbank.

I hope this clear up the confusion.
