AEX Meet and Cruise - PICS....
Here are some pics and a story from the AEX run this past Sunday…it was, to say the least, eventful!!!
Here are a few highlights!
Excellent route and some nice burnouts on the way out of AEX…
The back roads were the best, cruising and really taking the turns nice and tight…really starting to get used to the gear ratio and power of the TT
One incident…apparently an unmarked cop saw the cruise moving along (My buddy Matt said that his radar went off late) so probable saw we were exceeding the speed limit…called ahead where a SUV unmarked picked up about 6 of the people in the caravan…I started to pass the group and he must have heard me and pointed at me to pull over…I decided to do so because you could see he was really peeved. As I am sitting waiting to speak to him, one of the caravan guys in an E30 decided to blow the scene! He takes off, e-brakes around the corner and takes off…crazily the SUV guy takes off after him!!! I can’t believe this guy did that and I certainly do NOT condone this behaviour! It is reckless…so, we all decide the cop has left the scene so we continue down to Solomons Island with nothing more to report but necks being sore from seeing 30+ cars come rolling through…good times!

Hate to say it but this beast beat me up a little when going in a straight line…from what I heard he was pushing over 650 to the wheels! I could tell that it was going to be fun by the size of his picnic table intercooler!
