Quote: Just two of us so far. Staying in Missoula at the Best Western at Grant Creek. First day is a basic blast over to Missoula via Cle Elum, Wenatchee, Waterville, Post Falls and Missoula. About 400 miles, figuring on 8 hours with stops.

Next day is Lolo Pass (US-12) Grangeville, Lewiston, Post Falls via US-95 and I-90 back home. (A real long day). Or we may go into Northeastern Oregon, via Asotin, WA, Enterprise, La Grande, Ukiah, Pendleton. (another really long day) Then back to Seattle.
no go for me............a couple people at work are taking 6 day weekends for Labor Day apparently........

too short of notice for me to get the time off..........

have fun though and if you do it again anytime before the passes get snow then let me know

OK. Next adventure is a one week drive to the bay area in the middle of September. Oregon/California twisties, Santana Row car show, Crater Lake and some of Oregon's better Scenic Byways through the Cascades.

Mostly during the week, and usually involve an overnight out of town so as to get as far away from the law enforcement/tax collectors as possible.

Next adventure is a one week trip to the bay area starting September 12 and returning September 18.

Might do a lunch drive on the weekend to Ronald, WA's famous #3 Tavern for burgers. Wouldn't involve to exciting a drive, however.

This would be a fun Drive, but like Bruce said, too long, not enough curves.
