3rd annual Orinda classic car show 9/8
10 am until 2pm.
This year’s show will have 24hr Daytona winner (and Orinda resident) Jochen Rohr signing racing posters. This is low-key event, free admission, no judging, some interesting old iron and a few modern exotics (the Ruf for sure, and if it arrives in time Jochen will bring his new GT3rs. There will also be a charity raffle and Jochen will take a lucky winner for a ride of a lifetime at Infineon on Saturday, October 27, 2007 during the Porsche Club races.
This could be the post-Santana Row drive; Orinda is about 50 minutes away for normal people, which would be about 20 minutes the way you guys drive

About Seniors Around Town:
This non-profit program is organized by the Orinda Association and provides Orinda seniors who are not able to drive and who may not qualify for the County Connection LINK system with free transportation to appointments in the Lamorinda, Berkeley, and Walnut Creek areas. This is the only program of its kind in the county and all Orinda seniors 65+ are eligible.
Volunteer drivers provide transportation Monday through Friday, between 9am and 4pm. Seniors can make reservations 48 hours in advance of their need and will be matched with an available driver who will contact the rider directly.
Volunteer drivers are always needed and can decide how often and how far they are willing to drive. To learn more about the program or to volunteer, call 925-254-0800 or visit www.OrindaAssociation.org.
