These Lindsey's won't fit an older 911 without some major sheet metal work!!! I have 9 x 16's on the rear of my 87' 911 and there ain't anymore room for two more inches of wheel!!! I also wanted to rig my 87' with Big Reds but they wouldn't fit unless I went to 17" wheels. Couldn't win....so, the 9 x 16's were the answer.

I've never thought about Boxster brakes.....what difference would they be from the stock 911 brakes? My 911 calipers are only 2 cylinder, but I run metalic pads on cross drilled rotors. They seem to do a pretty good job stopping the car and I have no brake dust problems common with stock pads.

Steve...that's a great idea....perhaps you might like to come to the Eastern Shore and have a few steamed crabs and a couple of beers. You should bring your father also. My wife and I made a trip last weekend to Jacksonville to visit the old homestead. We could have met up then...Denny

That would have been perfect, I am not far from there. A couple of us are heading down to Kent Island soon, I will let you know the date and we can meet up then.
