OK. Here goes. By the way, I'm planning on figuring out how to make a good avatar... really.

Here's how they looked before they were ever heated up. These Volks are 19". The rotors are 15". They are HUGE.



Then, just some more scenic pictures after I hand waxed it for 4 and a half hours today. Meguiars is great stuff, but the new 3 stage wax system is insane. You literally wax and hand buff your car three times in one sitting. My right shoulder is killing me!

I hope it's worth it for you guys. I really, really like this setup.

I would have thought that I'd do that too, but in person, I really like this match. Since the car is Basalt Black Metallic, in light, it's almost a very very dark charcoal or gunmetal. My carbon accents are a bit lighter than the BBM, my not much, so I like that mix too. The gunmetal on these wheels, in person much more than the photos, is perfect in my mind. It was a crapshoot. Dan at Vivid told me to trust him on it and I did. So glad I did too.

Thanks man. I'd consider it, but it'd have to be something I totally believed in. There's been stuff that I put on my car and took back off and sold on eBay because I didn't like the product, its quality, or its execution. I'm much more interested in having my car 'right' than getting free stuff. But if the right thing came along, I may consider it. I'm not going to prostitute my car though. She's my baby. Anyway, the thought is cool. We'll see if the right group is interested.

Oh yeah. It's great now. All good, other than it doesn't have ALL the bass I want. So, sometime next week (hopefully... I have 3 track days to dodge around) I can get in and have the subs and sub amp upgraded. They have it all waiting there on me. I just can't get there.

Yea ive seen them in person so I understand where you are coming from They look nice but almost always dirty in pics even when clean, ah well sick either way!
